Hi! I'm BattleHamster almost everywhere: Lord of the Rings Fanatics Plaza, PPC Posting Board, etc. Because of my fierce devotion to Tolkien's books, I joined the Protectors of the Plot Continuum--this will be a place to post some of my PPCings. I write for Agents Tia Giltine and Car'rok of the Department of Mary Sues. I also do more traditional sporkings. So far I've gone after The Lord of the Rings and Sweeney Todd badfic, but I'll probably hunt down the Mary Sues of other fandoms later. I also hate Canon Sues, so Christopher Paolini is not on my list of favorite authors.

Contrary to what one might believe from the first paragraph, I do actually have a life outside of reading and the Internet--to some extent, at least. I like plays, both watching them and performing in them. I also love horses and have been riding regularly since I was about eight or nine. I like eventing the best, because cross-country jumping is incredibly fun, but I also like dressage. I love music, both listening to and playing it; my favorite music is heavy metal. I love good power metal. (Blind Guardian is awesome.)

NEW: As of 2/11/08, this LJ is the home of the Mini-Razor Adoption Center. For those not familiar with minis, they are created when someone misspells a name from a fandom; Mini-Razors are created when a name from Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is misspelled. The first minis were Mini-Balrogs and were thought up by Miss Camilla Sandman of the Official Fanfiction University of Middle-earth. So if you want to open your--or someone else's--home to a little walking, sentient straight razor, then come say so!

EVEN NEWER: The unadopted Mini-Razors are now part of the Creepy Bloodstained Victorians Protection Society, of which manx_and_shadow and I are the co-dictators..er, co-maintainers. (You can still adopt them, though.
